 The
NAVETAS are so called because of their inverted nave shape. They are
isolated construction. The best known of all is the "NAVETA D'ES
TUDONS" with superior and inferior chambers. It is situated four
km. from Ciutadella on the main road to Maó and constitutes
the most well known megalitic monument in the Balearics Islands. Recently,
remains of another naveta were found near Cala Blanca. |
